I can't quite believe that that day was 15 years ago. In some ways it feels like it was just a couple of years ago. I'll never forget where I was when I heard about the attacks. In the teacher's room at my first job. Someone told me that THREE planes had hit the World Trade Center. (I guess they got confused with the replays) And my dumba$$ thought was "boy some air traffic controller is getting fired for this". What can I say? I was young.
I also happened to be working right across the river from Manhattan so we could see the smoking towers from where we were. That was chilling. Then I had to go back to class. By the time I was able to turn on a TV again during my lunch break, the towers had fallen and my world had changed.
Fifteen years later the memories of that day are still so vivid. I'll certainly never forget.

That is one sick event. Changed everything. I guess everyone remembers that time when the towers fell, where exactly we were and what we were doing.

I was a student still on that day. Our teacher walked into the classroom with a horrified look on his face. I was living on Long Island, NY at the time.
It was a really sad day. Some classmates were crying because their family members worked there, it was a tragic time. The class watched the news until we went to our next class.
