Preserving the toys of Children

I am having a load of toys my children have played with . They are all kept in an almirah having a nice glass. All toys are teddy bears, cycles, motor cars, some clay utensils, helicopter, a tricycle, a set of kitchenware, spring dolls that dance and swing with the air, small goggles, some frocks, tees, small shoes, toy camera, toy binocular, what not each and every article and toy has been preserved with utmost care and caution.
Morning, when I got up from the bed on Sunday I take a blower and clean them all carefully. They are all my sweet memories of my children and the items I have purchased to paly with them. They are all Kids memories which are invaluable.
HAVE you preserved the toys and articles of your children they played with?

I don't have children but I still have some of the toys that I played with as a child. It's nice to keep memories like that. :-)

I kept just a few collectibles, which are more rare due to their vintage design, and donated the rest. What I would suggest you if you have lots of toys would be to do the same: keep only those to which you are attached most and use the rest to make today's children happy.
I'm sure you will find a charity organisation willing to help you out - and the children who receive them will be appreciating them big time. That is a joy greater than what the material goods per se may procure you.

yes. you are right. For charity, we can donate some new ones instead of used ones. These are collectables relating to our own children. After a gap of 30 years, they remind us how we entertained our children with these tools.

My mom, we should give all old toys to poor children along with some new toys so they have wonderful childhood.
