My Appreciation of Mylot

I am so appreciative of Mylot. It's conception and running, the people I have met and friends I have made. I can't recall or think of that much negative experiences I have had on here. I recall a pink bunny that used to bug me on the old version of Mylot. I do find that a few of the members I run into occasionally in a discussion are rather abrasive and seem to think they are perfect or near it. Those times, or experiences, are few. In my 64 years I have learned to roll with the punches.
Mylot has been a source of great fellowship and sharing of my complex life. There are times I really don't know what I would do without Mylot. I don't go to counseling anymore so there are times I need to rant and this is where I go. I have been so thankful to be met with such positivity and friendly remarks. Thank you all for that.
Mylot Admin. has always been very good. Alex and the bug are very good and always have been nice to deal with. That means so much.
I must admit I didn't like the idea of the big change that came here a few months back. I hate change! I had been on the old Mylot before it quit paying so have seen the site go through some changes. Have been a member for about eight years now. But, this new site is great and so much more user friendly than I ever thought it could be.
Thank you Mylot and Mylot members. You are great!

This is a different experience than some other sites that I won't mention LOL. It's great that admin. pays attention to what goes on here and responds, etc.

This site is awesome for me as well. It's where I get my adult time because I mostly talk to kids every day. Nothing wrong with that but I need some adult chat too!
I have made many friends here and I'm very grateful for everything this site is for me. =)

Back at you. It's nice to be back here. I got used to the new format and where to look, and I'm looking forward to payday. I'm trying to skip the abrasive sorts, nobody needs that in their day. I figure they are unhappy and want to spread it. Most people here are so good.

Good. The new format is nice isn't it. So easy to navigate. I feel as you do about the abrasive types. I am trying to be more positive and so this isn't good for me. Most folks are nice here though.

Three months for me has been good, too. Many political topics are quite engaging, interesting and relevant to talk about. I noticed, as well, that myLot is a place we learn to get used to people disagreeing with some of what we say. I like that. We can reason really well with evidence-based facts. That's really nice!

I don't know where I will go to vent or talk to people if it wasn't for mylot. I wouldn't even have a meet up with other mylotters if it wasn't for this site.

I agree. I have a lot of stress in my life at times and this site helps me because I can vent and I have met some great people.

i sure enjoy the folks i've met here 'n been reacquainted with 's well from that 'other place'. the majority 'f folks here 're wonderful, jest a few who could use a bit 'f manners. but, that's jest part 'f life i reckon, eh?
i'm glad to hear that folks here warm yer heart 'n make ya smile, i adore the ones'n my garden :)

yes. this is really a good site for social blogging. The site sits perfectly in the framework of social blogging and defines the term explicitly.

Very nicely said. I am sure you have seen many changes and met many people in the eight years that you have been here. I am new to the site and I love it here. The people are great and there are so many discussions to comment on. I am so glad I found this place.
