my phone's destroyed!?

yesterday, i had gone for a trek to one of the hills in Maharashtra where my phone though covered in plastic got destroyed completely... Now it seems for a few days, I am without any phone... Can you guys suggest any good Android phone!? I was actually about to buy OnePlus 3.. But if you have other recommendations please share

Sorry to hear about your phone...it must be frustrating to lose it ..... how did it get covered in plastic? was it raining there?

i had to cover it in plastic to protect it from water as there was a pond there which the phone fell but just few seconds in water destroyed it.
