His birthday...but I got a surprise!

It was my best friend's birthday and i had decided to throw a surprise party for him. I am always the first one to wish him on his birthday and somewhere in the corner of my heart ,he is very special to me. I decided to organise a big birthday party for him in one of our favorite resturants and invite all our mutual friends. The theme of the party was to wear masques so that the birthday boy will have to recognise his special friends. I called him to the resturant saying that i have no money to pay the bill of the food and he came immediately to save me but to his surprise he got a wonderful organised birthday celebration...and at the end of the party..he proposed to Me!..the feeling was great..i loved the moment because i also felt the same for him!
So,guys have you ever been surprised or felt amazed while planning a surprise for someone else and would you also tell me some more party themes so that i can make such parties much better?

What a great story! So not only was he surprised but you were also! That just made my day. There is just something about a good love story that gets my heart feeling all warm and fuzzy!

I think your excitement level and will to make others happy is just great and fabulous. Even u want to plan such parties for my friends and make them feel special but i rarely get a chance to execute that. My friends never like my idea..i think partying beside a sea beach eith some dj is full of fun. It can entertain youngsters to their full extent and help them dissolve themselves with the other guests as well. Your masque theme that you have mentioned is also superb...i really loved it and would definetly suggest my friends to use it, I have got many birthday surprises in my life but its strange that i have rarely planned any for my friends!

@Jenny_09 ....i would also like to share one experience with my girlfruend here...i also decided to throw a surprise party for her at a couple park but invited all my friends as well. I thought she would not like it because she hated much crowd around her but i took the risk and to my surprise she liked it a lot and kissed me in front of everybody...it was such a proud moment for me because it was the first time that i made her happy on her birthday because usualli forgot her special day because of which she always remained angry with me on this day
...and your surprise idea of wearing masques and letting your partener recognise you is a very innovative idea..this is so much fun..there can be many ways like recognising your partner by smelling,touching fingers and many more...they may work as icings on tha cake..hope you will like it!

Wow..your story is amazing. You can keep themes related to hollywood or bollywood films and may be retro sometimes...it gathers attention of viewers and gift him something that stays as a memory to him forever!

Wow..what an amazing story...even i would love to do this in my girlfriend's birthday. He and your friends must ve amazed right? And yes, when someone smiles because of you,you get the utmost pleasure i guess...i hope you won't if i take this trick

Haha...wow...it must be an awesome feeling for you dear. I feel the people are lucky when they get to know that they are going to soend their life with the same person they love indeed. Your surprise party idea is superb and what others have written like celebrating it beside a sea shore or park also sounds great. Your boyfriend is lucky to have you because there are very few people who value the real worth of a person! May you two be happy always...n yes we should keep surprising ithers because we never know when good comes to us and make our life better!
