Love does not happen at first sight, what happens at first sight is hormonal imbalance. Strong desire to see a person and be with them cannot be described as love at first sight.love is a laborious task but it is a painful joy.

Yes I believe in love at first site. That's how I felt when I met my husband and we're about to celebrate 4 years of marriage. We have been together for over 5 years though.

When I met my hubby, I was dating someone else but the moment I met him, I somehow knew he will be the one Im going to end up marrying to. When I broke up with my boyfriend/fiance, out of nowhere, we just start talking again. It will be 4 years in this December since we got married.

I think it happens. My husband and I met April 20th 05, engaged June 5th 05, Married by July 8th 05. We are still very very happy and currently 5 months pregnant. I think it all depends on the people. The first night we met.. we became the world to each other and you couldn't pull us apart.. much like today.

My fiancee and I met on the Internet. A few weeks later we met in person. By this time we had spent A LOT of time Instant Messaging, emailing, and talking on the phone together. We already felt very much in-love with each other.
When we met in real life, it only confirmed my love and adoration for my fiancee. She has a similar thought about this.
We have been togeter for almost 2 years now, are very close to each other, and are still head-over-heels in love with each other.
So, to answer your question, I would have to say YES!

hm..dear friend this is a difficult question..but still
its a subjective matter.
According to me love doesnt come at first site. The term love is eternal. Those instints that comes to mind are purely crushes. The real love has a meaning only when both the lovers are commited in their relationship.

Its possible to have the spark of attraction at first sight.. but that's not love. It makes conditions for it.. but its not love. Love is something you dont know you have until you dont know WHAT else the feeling you have could be.

i think, love at the first sight is a rare case. maybe only some lucky ones will get to have a long lasting relationship with love at the first sight. but for me, love is not build within a day. even for love at the first sight, we will need trust, honesty, understanding and importantly we have to compromise with each other to keep the love alive. whether it is love at the first sight or love that build through times, what we need is the effort from both parties to make the love keep on going((:

I think it's more like lust at first sight. I think if you feel a strong physical attraction when you first set your eyes on someone and think "Wow" that's what it is. I think it takes time to get to know someone to feel love for that person. I have felt love for someone I spoke with for 2 hours on the phone because I felt a connection even though I didn't know that person well. I had met this man, but didn't feel love at first sight. My attraction grew stronger for him though after the lengthy phone call.................

from what u've just said i'd say you still do love him and he also loved you....the proof is your kids and those 10yrs that you guyz had spent together.....now i don't know what has happened between you two but still don't you think that those 10 yrs where the most precious moments of your life? i guess yes you do feel it that way....i'm not lecturing you but still as a friend go back to him if it's possible eventhough 6yrs is a long time.....but it's better to make it all work out if it's possible or else wella new life is out there for you sweety....:)don't mind whatever i've said

Yes, before we ended the phone conversation, I told him I felt that I loved him and he said the same thing to me, and fast forward 10 years later, we had two kids together and lived together until we broke up 6 years ago. I've been with someone else since.

Yea I do.. with my husband I feel I loved him before I even met him.. the first time I saw him I couldn't get him out of my head.. it was like I had always known him. We believe we are soul mates and that we have known each other in a past life. We have now been together for 9 years and love each other more then ever. I think love at first site exists because its residual from a past life that the two people shared together.
