Okay so I am going to try a new challenge for at least a week (we will see how I like it) I am doing 2 dollar meals (homemade, there is 2 people in my household, so they are going to be 1 dollar a serving), I would like to know if anyone has some cheap and frugal recipes.

@abonnen Sounds great! It's hard to go wrong with stir fry... or even fried rice can be done in so many different combinations...

Pasta is always good for cheap meals, especially dried. Make (cheaper) or buy the sauce and top with some cheese.

Want to try my mom's chicken congee? She boil 1 cup of rice in 5 cup of water. When they are cooked into something like watery risotto, she added a cup of diced chicken leftovers and a cup of chopped vegetables. Continue cooking until the veggies ie cooked, seasoned it, and serve it hot. It usually cost her RM8 which is around $2, and it is enough to feed four hungry members of my household.
