I wanna get rid of my nerd glasses and I am unable to wear contacts. i tried but I cant stick the lenses to my eyes, So lasik is a good option for me.

@XinfulThotz I rather go lasik than wear contacts though. I bought contacts recently and I still cant put them on until now.

@CaptAlbertWhisker yes! Wearing glasses make me look nerd!!! There are people who look smart in glasses but for me it just looks nerd!!
But i really dare not go for lasik. Too much fear..

I agree with you. This is why I still prefer to wear glasses rather than taking a risk to have the surgery. I am not sure whether there will be some side effects of the Lasik after some years. I even don't wear contact lenses as wearing the glasses is the safe way

@XinfulThotz In fact I hope the doctors will find a safe way to cure the near-sighted problem

I don't need to wear any glasses or contacts, but most people I know did do the lasik. I am afraid and probably would do a lot of research if I were in that position to or not. But any surgery I would be very scared!

@Ayuriny do you wear contact lenses?
I have friends who suddenly can't wear lenses anymore as something happened to their cornea and was adviced to discontinue contact lenses. Was a bit worried ever since then...

I have to wear glasses and I hate it. I had contacts for awhile but eventually they became a hassle and I started having problems with them. I have thought about getting lasik eye surgery before and if I had the money to do it then I would. I would love to be able to see clearly again without glasses or contacts.
