Do not let old people lonely

My grandma is my superstar because she supported me in my hard times while every one against me..and also while I was living with my stepmother.. From past 3-4 days I noticed that she was quite lonely..so i did take her out to the park..and after half an hour of talking I thought I some how reduced her loneliness.. My sincere request to all of you please talk to old people at least once or call them when you are away..because you may never get a chance someday..

We have many elderly in our church, I send my boys over to do jobs for them and we try to take good care of them.

That is great advice and I hope many people listen. I know my mom use to get so lonely and a simple phone call or a visit meant so much to her. It is hard for them when they get older and are living alone. Nobody wants to have regrets when they are gone because they didn't visit or call as often as they should have. You never know when there will never be another chance.

you are so right there.Many do not speak to them.Because they sometime talk slowly.trying to find the words. Many are very impatience with this.I am not.for I am one of the old one

It is good of you to spend time with your grandmother and you are right. Old people can get very lonely.

You are absolutely correct. We should never leave an elderly person alone but rather try and spend more time with them :)

Totally agree. I dont have my grandparents I miss them a lot . The one who have please love them . They are always with your decision always try to keep them away from loneliness and always try to interact with them .
