Well, I have spent enough time here this morning and I can feel my body getting stiff.
Time to get out there and be active for a while.
First, I will do my walking and then a short break here, and then mowing the front lawn. The weather is gorgeous and it will be fun and relaxing.
Then I will have lunch.
Isn't nice to be retired and do exactly what one wants to do? I think so!
How about you? Are you enjoying your "retired" life?

It seems many here are retired and enjoying this part of their years.

I made a big pitcher of sweet tea, have clothes in the dryer, watered the shrubs in the front yard - after lunch it will be pool time. I've enjoyed retired life for many years.

I should do more exercise. But I´ll go to the doctor the 20th and I bet she´ll ban all my nasty habits

@marguicha, unfortunately, my walk made me extremely tired and I wasn't able to do the lawn.
I hope to feel better tomorrow.

Not quite yet although I am looking forward to retiring and being able to do all the things I would like to do and when to do them!

Yes, I sure am. Today was fun. I walked in the morning and stayed in later because the air went foul. Drat.

Hello @andriaperry, do you mean that you cut the grass way too short?

@andriaperry I guess it's better taking it this way than be mean to your husband.

@marlina LOL, no I had to mow the grown up fields and I was mad so I mowed it down and made sure it was just cut, I get mad and I take it out on cleaning something, or this time mowing the grass down.

Try little bit of jogging in the evening. It will make you more active. Obviously, I am retired in my thirties due to bad health. Therefore, it will take a while for me to understand whether I am enjoying my 'retired' life or not.

I'd enjoy it more without th epain issues, but I'm grateful to not be in the "ratrace" anymore, lol. It is nice to not have to be dedicated to someone else's schedule. I have some floor cleaning to do today, company is coming tomorrow and we want to look spiffy!

That's the way to do it, walking for a mile or biking, it will do good to your health.
