Hello !
I've read and heard about so many good ideas on all kind of subjects that could, if acted on, really change things for the best for human beings and their positive evolution
A few examples :
- Mr. Friot's work value redistribution system including the universal revenue.
- Finland scholar system that puts kids back to the center of occupation.
- The empathy mandatory course given to all the kids in Norway, which makes it the happiest country on earth :p
- collaborative gardens in big towns and cities where most people live in flats. These gardens are wonderful ; those who "know what they're doing" teach to those that are total newbies and everyone gets out of the experience knowing how to take care of a land of a plant of oneself.
And you ? what good ideas have you heard about ?

I agree! There are many people and many blogs, websites and social media sites dedicated to educating people on the value of experiences versus material things. You can be successful while having less! It's not always about consumerism and buying more and bigger and better things!

You know, I thought the communal gardens are the best thing I've heard about in a long time. Also, I recently heard from a myLotter about how their local school has a program wherebvy the kids help out as a janitorial function. They help clean up the school as a privilege. I think they could make things like that part of a school curriculum. Practical knowledge and also teaching teamwork and pride of place.

Our city has over two dozen community gardens scattered in neighborhoods throughout the city. It is a wonderful idea, and brings neighbors together who may not have otherwise ever met. I see many people out working in their community gardens on a daily basis.

those sound like great ideas - my own thinking is that we should step aside and let the insects have a go at creating a society instead - bound to make a better job of it than we have done
