As cell phones use micro- waves and have recently been shown to cause sterility in men and also entails a warning in every cellphone handbook cautioning that the excessive use of cell phones and their proximity to the thinnest membrane in the body, the ear drum, has been proved to cause or contribute to some kinds of cancer I have ceased to use my cell phone at all. I also caution my fiancee against overuse of his cell phone, even though we have no intention of having children. It is always best to be safe as you can rather than sorry later.

that is very smart of you. It keeps the cell phone and thus the microwaves that it uses further from your head.

Is your cell your only phone? Or do you have a landline because I would recommend using the LL more.

With it you probably won't live long either since it has been shown that you can get brain cancer and that the microwaveas used by cellular companies to send your signal can make you impotent or infertile. Using a land line whenever possible and reducing usage of your cell when neccessary could be worth your life to you so decide if it truly is your life.

It can damage your health, inmy state, California it is illegal to drive and talk on a cell phone now. They need to focus on creating a safer product for human consumption.

No not the same effect because you are keeping the phone further away from your head. It is just that the membrane between your ear and your brain is the thinnest membrane in your bod.

This is the best method of usage, in my opinion. Thank you for your response.

My fiancee says that there are new studies out that say that cell phones do not cause cancer but there is still the FCC warning at the front of ownership manuals that says that they can. What do you think?

You are correct. We do. I smoke even though I know it is not good for me.

I use it seldom. I agree so many things we use are harmful for consumers. Like microwaves which also cause cancer. The U.S government does not care about our health and safety they only care about making profits.

my cell phone is my only phone. most people now a days only use their cell phone as their main phone line and have foregone the landline of a "home" phone. everything is revolutionizing to be mobile in this trying to be fast-paced world.

My fiancee is this way. Even when he is home he still will unthinkingly use his cell rather than come get the cordless.
