~Quiet Day~

Today has been a quiet day so far. The kids have been playing together nicely. My husband is working today and I'm just watching TV.
We found out yesterday our landlord is not going to be managing our home anymore starting next month. This is really bad. His sister in law is taking over and he told us if we are late by a couple days she will kick us out. Ouch...
We have been thinking about moving to another place because this isn't the best area and this house is pretty small for us. Now, we're definitely thinking about moving within the next month. Gosh I hate moving!
We will see what happens, one day at a time.

Glad you are enjoying your day. It is always when kids play nicely. I wish you luck in finding a new place that better suits your family. Sad that she would kick you out if your rent was a few days late. Enjoy your day.

I believe things happen for a reason and perhaps the present landlord moving is a sign you do need to move to another area. I'd wait until spring if you can. Course the weather isn't as severe there probably as it is here. I would rather move in pleasant weather and spring is a time for cleaning and sorting anyway.

@celticeagle Yes it could be a sign that it's time to move on. Hopefully we will find a better place, if we do have to move.
Here it is still very warm so it won't be bad weather or anything.

One day at a time, is what we need to do to sort our problems...i keep saying that to myself too.

Florida does seem to have a big turnover for lanlords. everyone is always having to move and there is no tolerance for tenants to be given any breaks here

The move might be bad, but it will be exciting to get to another place. Worst thing to do is have a bad landlord. Like I do. BTW: I just realized that you are from Jacksonville too...like me. What part?
