Learning from Jesus himself.

When I woke up this morning two verses came so strongly to me. Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. What is it Lord that I must learn from you? The answer came from Mat 9:13 Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' I realised that this is my most difficult lesson to learn, ... to be truly merciful to other people. I am willing to learn how to sacrifice my time, my money, my possessions, my interests.....but am I willing to learn what he himself so clearly asks from me. And yet, is that not what people in a hard, cruel and merciless world needs most? What is the use if I am a shining example for example in giving my money, but I am hard and unforgiving towards the very people I want to win for Christ, even my own household. Lord Jesus teach me this greatest of all lessons. To be as merciful as you are.

Indeed, and his words; 'come to me, and learn from ME.'' will stand as a monument throughout all the ages to come. A intimately personal invitation to everyone who might just be interested.

@just4him Joh 6:63 It is the Spirit that makes alive, the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and are life.

Thank you Xavier. Far and few between are those that long to have the same life that Christ lived. A noble and exalted life.
