Disconnected

My phone broke almost a week ago and being without a phone for the past 6 days made me realize how much I depended on my phone for everything. It was my connection to the world, and not because of Facebook or Ig or any of those things. It was the portability. I was able to do homework on my phone. I used it to network with other people. I used it to keep contact with my businesses. I used it to hail a ride to and from work sometimes if I was running a little late. I feel like I'm living in the year 2001 in 2016 and it's not always easy.

I should be getting one before the end of the week. That is the goal anyway. I'm not too confident because I'm not buying it, but someone else I know. It's not that I don't necessarily trust her, but I don't like to depend on someone else to do something that can make or break my situation. I like to hand important things on my own so I'm the only one responsible in case a plan doesn't fall through.

My BFF's phone was down for 5 days. She needed a new battery. We almost lost our minds
