Week 1: Lost 8.2 pounds!

Today was weigh-in day at the Transformation gym. I got to see how much weight I lost during Week 1 and it was 8.2 pounds. I am really psyched! The strict diet and tough workouts are paying off!
The Challenge is to lose 20 pounds in 6 weeks so I have 5 weeks to lose 12 more pounds. Personally, I'd like to lose more than that but of course I will be happy with the 20. That is a lot of weight to lose in just 6 weeks.
Tonight's workout was very good. I was able to do everything. The very last thing we had to do was push this loaded weight thing the whole length of the gym--down and back. I was able to do that fairly easily while others struggled. I guess we all have our strengths (no pun intended). It was nice to not be the one who was having the hard time for once.

Way to go!! I know the feeling of getting over that small hump. I really would love to lose 8 pounds in a week!
