Do you collect anything?

I don't really collect anything at this point in time, but I have collected things in the past. I have collected bottles, glasses, matchbooks for a short period of time, and items from nature. The only thing I have a small collection of now, is shot glasses. Unless you count books as a collection item. I have collected a number of them.

I collect dust. No, just joking. I don't collect anything anymore. I think collections are a luxury and I don't have the extra cash to spend on collections...

well that is kind of true. Unless you collect things from out of doors. I once had a collection of items found in nature. I had a fossil, pinecone, feather etc. I liked that one.

@waitinghuman Yes, and some people take it to the extreme. I have seen on TV people with huge collections of various items like salt and pepper shakers, ceramic pigs and what not. OF course they would be Americans..we are all crazy lol...take it from a yank!

I collect shot glasses also from places that I visit. I quit for awhile but picked it back up a few years ago. I also have a large collection (3K +) beanie babies. They have a small room in my house again. They spent a number of years in crates in storage. I quit collecting when they went into storage. They have changed the design of beanies now with big huge eyes, they look freaky and so I don't collect them. If I see ones that I don't have at garage sales I pick them up of the old design. When I was very young I collected bear themed things, but gave that up many years ago and got rid of most of it. I have a few authors that I liked when I was younger and collected their books in hard back. I still have them in boxes.

@snowy22315, yes they were. It was very hard to find them on the shelves when you went into the stores. I remember getting up early to get a number to go in to the store and be able to pick 1 maybe 2 beanies at a time.

Long time ago I collected the photos or newspaper cuts about cats and dogs. As they are my favorite animals.

I don't collect anything and find it fascinating when I meet people who does and show me what they have. Just like yesterday a friend posted in facebook a pig stuffed toy which she captioned to be another addition to her pig collection. I thought that was cute.
