iOS 10 - a major disappointment?

I allowed the iOS to update itself on my work iPhone 5S... and I cannot help being sorry about the decision I took. The screen lost significantly in responsiveness, now there are lags even with the phone dialer to come on screen, the battery drains way faster (losing 2-3% per hour even without actually using the phone). Oh, and you need to press on the Home button twice in order to unlock the phone. Is this a feature meant to make it wear itself out faster?? And, of course, there is no option in the menus to revert to iOS 9.3.1. So unless you take the phone to a repair shop, where they can jailbreak it for you, there isn't pretty much to be done... Maybe though this only happens on older models, as my 5S; probably on the iPhone 6 and 6S it should be better, given their higher processing power.

It is always risky to install a new OS, and it is not specific to Apple. Many things will be probably fixed in a few weeks.

So they basically will launch a second update to correct what went wrong with the first update :)))

@LuciCJ I think so. I guess you are not the only one to complain.

Now I'm having second thoughts.
