We never get flu shots...we suffer it...and the flu gets tired that nobody is scared of it, and runs away.

@amadeo ... I am saying, we have never taken flu shots...NEVER. We do have flu attacks, and we take antibiotics then, and then we are alright.

Lake Como sounds like an exciting place to visit. Will it be warm there? Never got the flu shot.

No, it's not warm right now (I am 5 Km from Lake Como), but usually it's not too bad in October, we can expect an average temperature of 18/20 degrees Celsius.

I had the flu last year despite having the flu jab. I'll have this year's jab on Saturday. Husband has a compromised immune system, so it's better to be safe ... I tend to get ill far more often than he does!

My two younger kids have gotten their flu shot. I need to get my daughter in to get hers done but I might wait till January for her to get it at her check up. Both me and my husband will get ours when we find time to do so.

@amadeo thank you! I think shots are very important sure maybe not all are required but a flu shot could help keep you fro getting the flu or lesson how bad you get it.

I haven't got the flu shot yet, but I always do get it. I never get the flu. My kids hax the flu when they were young. It was terrible. The hospital was full, I just had to sit with them, giving sips of water, wiping their bodies, and watching them burn up and struggle to breathe. I' ll take the flu shot over that!

I know a woman who religiously gets a flu shot every single solitary year and every single solitary year she comes down with the flu a week or two after getting the shot. I've never had a flu shot in my life and the last time I had a case of the flu was back in the 1990s. I point this out to the woman but she can't see the obvious. She says that the Surgeon General says that we should get a flu shot every year so she dutifully does as she is told without every questioning it. And she says that getting the flu every year is reason why she should get a flu shot. She has it all backwards but can't see it. She will surely continue doing as she is told without questioning it and she will continue getting the flu every year and she will continue supporting the trillion-dollar pharmaceutical industry by paying for that shot and then buying flu medicine every year.

@MKAlubs.I have not gotten the flu.I am traveling abroad.Flu shots is highly recommend for people my age. At my age my immune system is at a love level.I am skeptical to infection.I need all the protection that I can get. Never ever had any problems with the shots.I am eighty six years of age. This speak for itself.
