I'm afraid I've had a few frustrations lately myself. But I'm not angry with anyone close to me. Just frustration from trying to deal with family business, and how you can't get the right person on the phone anymore to help you. Just relieve your stress here at myLot, we are always here for you!

Sometimes family business is the worse because you naturally expect family to be the most understanding which is often times not the case.

Take a few deep breaths and let yourself calm down. I know it is not always an easy thing to do but it keeps you from saying things that you may later regret. Like Sue said vent to us. We are here for you.

Listen to some music that you like. It distracts you. If you can't turn on any music like a radio or play a CD, there is music your head. Go in your brain and retrieve it! One time a really angry person yelling and screaming at me, and inside my mind I was singing Christian hymns the whole time. I'm sure what they had to say was important to them, so I just let them go ahead and say it! I could have gotten angry back at them and started yelling and screaming too, but it just felt so good singing those hymns inside my head.

This is good. It shows a healthy interest and you can take it to use it to relieve frustration. I like Christian music in general and oftentimes it is "playing in my mind."

My suggestion is to count to ten slowly. If that fails try counting to maybe one hundred and maybe that will calm you down. I know what you feel since there are some people on television talk shows and on the internet that are so silly it is not even funny to watch the shows.

You need to do two things and both are found in the comments of other people here. 1. Take deep breaths and relax. Let go of the tension. 2. Find something that interests you and whenever the negative situation arises do if you can whatever that interest is. You can always determine more than one interest.
