How much junk mail do you get?

I don't gets tons of junk mail here, but there are two pieces that I receive every single month and they're beginning to get on my nerves! One is from capitol one, wanting me to get their credit card. You'd think they'd be tired of just sending it every month with no reply but I guess not. I've tried many things to get this one piece of mail to stop, but nothing works. I've talked with the postman about it and he said that if I try returning it, they just toss it out. So that's exactly what I do now. And today reminded me of the other piece of mail. I haven't had a car in many years now. I don't even have a driver's license any more. But I keep getting this one piece of mail from some company wanting to help me lower my car payments. Every piece of mail they send tells me it's their "final notice". Tossed that one, too. How about you? -Claudia- image from pixabay

There is a way to opt out of prescreened credit offers like the Capital One thing. Visit the website below and complete the form to opt out of receiving them for five years. There is also a phone number you can call if you prefer, which is 1-888-5-OPT-OUT (1-888-567-8688).
Equifax, Experian, Innovis, and TransUnion, (collectively the "Consumer Credit Reporting Companies”), encourage you to make an informed decision about receiving firm (preapproved / prescreened) offers of credit or insurance. There are several benefits of

Some of it is so ridiculous! I understood when I was ready to move and I received a lot of mail from real estate people. But when they want to "help" us with something we don't even have....just nuts! lol

Today it seems that Hotmail has made some methods to avoid the junk mails. So usually I will just receive about 20 junk emails and they are all in the junk folder automatically. So I don't have any complaints about it.

We laugh when we get mail like that because we just put it through the shredder and into the trash. The worse for me was from AARP leading up to my 50th birthday in January. I think perhaps 3-4 times a week I got stuff from them. When Mike turned 50 he signed up for it but seldom used it as stores had other discounts which were better then theirs. So when renewal time came we didn't. Have a blessed day friend
