I have been a Facebook active member since 2009 and I have observed a lot of changes along the way. Back in the days, we just wanted everyone to accept our invites from the games that we got addicted on. Now, with the use of hashtags and the never ending narration of each person's political views, the people became more and more opinionated - to the extent that there were already exchange of thoughts but simply referring to only one Facebook member. I simply don't get it. If they wanted to exchange opinions publicly, they should've tag the person instead so that they can have a one-on-one conversation rather than having numerous posts.
I don't know if they wanted to appear controversial or to simply gain petty interactions to some people. They could have settled things privately.
Some people would tell that they don't want to shame the person that's why they try not tag them, but still, they already offended the other party. Wish I could unfollow them, but they're my friends and even relatives.

People has either become enslaved or just hooked into what others are doing in the world of social media. I feel like an old person now, not knowing this hashtag thing. Except that when I put the person's name in here when I respond them back. People in social media can be fearful to the point of hating.

True. Even during times when we hangout or have get togethers, It's seldom that we no longer take pictures. It's like we just bond for the sake that we can upload photos and show to people that we're having a great time. i guess faking should the right term for it.
