I like biographies of interesting people. Right now I'm reading a different kind of book, actually two of them. They are not strict biographies, but fictional accounts of how life looked from the eyes of the book's subject. One is about Anne Morrow Lindbergh and the other about Zelda Fitzgerald. Both women married to famous and celebrated men, but who are interesting in their own right.
I also like detective stories & mysteries. And I like historical novels. I have been watching so many different series on TV and online that I haven't been reading very much. I used to be quite a bookworm. I'd like to adapt better habits to keep my reading going now.

Great. Since you said you love inspirational stories, may I recommend you 'The Monk who sold his Ferrari'? That is one of the greatest books in the genre you mentioned.

Wonderful book. It's amazing how the author makes you love and hate all the characters in the book. Still going strong even after 200years.

I like to read about real-life paranormal stories. Cases involving encounters with ghosts, angels, UFOs, and monsters. Aside from that I like to read mystery, thrillers, and romance.

You must watch 'The Conjuring' movie. Both the movies are based on real life paranormal stories. Unfortunately, I don't think there are any book versions of the two movies.

I usually like reading long novels. In such books, the characters and the plot are built in a slow yet engaging manner. It is like slow poison. The books take time to impress you, but once they do, you'll never know what hit you. Long novels are awesome!

I'm a huge fan of nonfiction. Everything from biographies to self help to classic psychological literature. My favorite authors at the moment are Malcolm Gladwell (Blink, the tipping point, David and Goliath) and Scott Barry Kaufman who is an up and coming expert on intelligence and creativity (Ungifted).
