Today, while I was eating that delicious turkey, I was already planning what to do with the big dices of onions and apples that were at the bottom of the meat. Tomorrow I will still have some turkey. But the onions will last longer. I also bought a couple of chicken thighs and legs yesterday. So on Friday I will roast them over those onions. I´ll serve them with white rice on the side. Do you use your leftovers?

@marguicha My close friend and my sister refuse leftovers so I usually end up taking them.

@ricki_911 Some people think that they are spoiled. I always tell my daughter that if it is kept in the fridge, it will last.

Sounds good ! Yes I love leftovers. I usually use them all up at the end of the week, depending what they are. Sometimes I will freeze them and have them another time.

It depends on whether I like the food or not.. lol Like I would love leftover turkey, but not so much of leftover spaghetti. For some reason, I get sick of spaghetti really quick.

Spaguetti with sauce can be turned into an awesome omelette.

@Carmelanirel2 We all have our tastes. And they even vary with the years.

I´m very fond of turning leftovers to soups and omelettes, depending on what it is.

Chicken was on offer at the supermarket today, so I bought one even though my husband doesn't like it. I roasted it tonight and it was delicious, but I will be eating it for several days

It much depends on how many people live with you. When there are too many people, it is better to serve bigger dishes.

I most certainly do use my left overs, as well have them for dinner. For some reason the flavor of the food marinates over night, then the real flavor comes out Like left over fried chicken is the best and especially when it had already sat in the fridge over night or the middle of the night cravings.
