I don't really want to choose just one. 
But music is something you can listen to even while you are doing something else. So it's easier to do that all the time. Whereas, reading is something that you need to focus on. So you can't read while driving, you can't read while cooking, you can't read while shopping, you can't read while tackling your bills,... But you can definitely have music playing in the background while doing all that.

I never get tired reading. I was never interested in music.
