Yes, she did and I hope it did not destroy her sleep last night. I hope she won't get nightmares.
Yesterday when my 11 years old niece came home from school with his father, she told us that there was a man shot in his head near her school. I asked her what happened and how did she know it. I saw that she was a bit shock and pale and so I told her to tell us what happened.
My niece said that when she was out of school and waiting for her father to come, whos workplace was nearby, she heard a sound of a gun. Then the people and school children were running to the place where the shot came. They saw a dying man, shot in the forehead but the body was still shaking. The man was sitting on his tricycle as he was a driver of a tricycle waiting for a client to come, when he was shot in his forehead. A lot of blood coming out of his forehead and into the ground. A piece of cardboard near his feet saying, "I am a drug dealer, will you follow me?"
Policemen and the ambulance came and brought the dying man in the hospital. My niece said that some of the people saw 2 men riding a single motorcycle with a dark helmet on. They said it was them who shot the tricycle driver.
Then my cousin said that we were lucky because she and I were supposed to go to that ATM machine, where the victim was shot, to get some cash but I told my cousin I would prefer to go to the ATM machine in the highway. We have heard the sound of the ambulance when we walked home but we thought nothing about it.
I am so thankful to God to have not seen the killing. I thought if I was, I would be packing my things now and fly back to Germany where there is peace for me. Not much killing news compared to my home country where I am now.
I have not seen my niece yet as she is back to school. I told her yesterday that if ever she hears gun shooting again or seen any trouble, she should better go away as it might be dangerous for her. I hope my niece is not in trauma.
Is your country peaceful? Are there drug dealers shooting in your country?

I hope she will @ridingbet. As long as I am still here, I can talk to her about everything.

She's too young to see something like that, I'm sure that won't go away from her head anytime soon.

@MissNikki she is doing fine. I think she already forgot it. She was happy dancing with us yesterday when we practiced our dance for my fathers birthday next week.

It isn't peaceful in my town. Shootings and stabbings and it reminds me of Chicago.

It seems that every where is the same @carebear29. It's frightening, isn't it?
