I've just finished with two days worth of notifications. I really need to start earlier than 3 PM. Hopefully tomorrow will be better on here. Though I do still have to get the media center put together so I can get the TV relocated on it instead of where it is currently.
I took a picture of where it's at right now so you can see why I bought a new one today.
I started with almost 500 notifications and am now just under 400. I know there will be a lot more tomorrow by the time I get back here. Hopefully I can get a better handle on them and IF I can get another two days worth done, that will be a blessing indeed.
So I'm going to unpack a few more boxes and then go to bed. Thanks for reading.

@MissNikki Not really. I've been out more than I've been in. So I've done a couple hours this morning and I've been on for a couple hours now this afternoon/evening.

The TV stand I got didn't have enough pre-drilled holes. I just went online to Wal-Mart and ordered a new stand that isn't as much work to put together and shouldn't weigh much either. I'll be able to pick it up at the store on Friday.

Never worry about notifications . I noticed and observed many notifications but mostly on LIKE and one post bears one person name spread with the same post,LOL. Like mine hundred plus this afternoon, when I opened it owners are only very few hahahaha, tricky.

Great Valerie. Good luck. Please keep me posted, I am interested to follow along. I am a retired teacher, and although I can make a lot of money helping out at various schools, I would like to pursue a more free course, where I also have more time to give to God and his cause.
I have searched far and wide on the Internet for opportunities to write, and yesterday I landed a 10 article project with someone in Singapore. But it was a long battle to find something that actually pays.
Currently I am considering starting my own blog/column/website, but that is also a huge learning curve at my age.
So maybe we can share a few ideas as we explore the avenues.

@Eitchy This is the only blog I write for. I do have my own site blog, but I haven't been there in ages to write or update anything. The only thing I ever knew before I landed on this site and the one that closed down a year ago was my own writing and it was my main focus. I'm happy I have three books published and another one soon will be.
I'm glad you were able to land a good writing job.

Yikes, that is a lot of notifications. Then again when I go camping later next month, I am sure mine will increase too. What I find is building up are the suggested posts, I just don't have that kind of time right now to deal with it.

Neither do I. So they wait until I have all notifications completed. That could take a while. I'm hoping to be caught up before I go on my two mini vacations next month, one a women's retreat for church - two days - overnight, and the other a three day vacation with a friend. I'm really looking forward to that one.

It will soon have a new stand. The one I got will be taken back as it doesn't have all the necessary pre-drilled holes, and I'll pick up the new one on Friday and get it put together with very little problem. I chose a much easier one to put together.

Me either. I need to take back the one I bought as it doesn't have all the pre-drilled holes in it. I just ordered a new one that will arrive on Friday. It's also a lot easier to put together, so I should have it together on Friday and the TV sitting properly on the new stand before the day/night is out.

I can only do so many a day, so I'm hoping to eventually get caught up, but such is not the case yet. I still have as many and I'm working on September 22nd. So hopefully before the end of the month I can get this caught up. It would be nice.

I do hope you set it so that you only get the responds, comments, and mentions notifications. The likes will just take up so much space. As for the message, follows, and suggests, it should be easy enough to see any new ones in their own tabs and pages.

Right, that is the way I have it set. No likes, but I think every once in a while one sneaks through. I'm also seeing doubles occasionally of those I've already commented on.

@just4him I go through about 50 notifications, then write a post, finish the notifications, write another post, read my followers posts, new post, and if I am lucky I get to answer more notifications and write a third post. That is if all the day is going my way. Don't try to do too much. You will catch up.

Lately not as much as I used to before I moved. It's somewhere around 5 hours a day right now. It used to be upwards of 10 hours or more a day.
