A decision is Made

We have made a decision about the guy over head. if you remember he was away for a few days and the nights were so deliciously quiet for a few nights after he came back. Now the noise has returned and we have decided we can't sit here and be nice any longer. Something must be done. I'll write more about it later, I've been on mylot too long for now, and I must get up and stretch my legs. Sleep well tonight everyone.

Yes, you should tell the person above to observe nightly noise as you might not be able to sleep.

If he cannot be dealt with in a nice way, better the neighborhood to file eviction of that lousy man.

@thelma55 we can't do that. He could be dangerous when he takes those wild spells throwing things.

@RubyHawk Oh! DonĀ“t you have any rules and regulations living in a more families building? Like no loud music at 10 in the evening ? We are renting an appartment in Germany and we have rules made by the owner of the building, to follow .

It's a shame when this happens. I had tenants above me in the other apartment, before we moved into this one, and one of the roommates was very quiet and the other just the opposite. It was tough.

@RubyHawk .....We had people come to stay in the apartment next to this one that were problems. But, the police came and found he had an outstanding warrant so they were gone quickly.

We've lived here for around 14 years and only had a similar problem once.

I'm behind, so I don't know what's going on. I'll have to check your profile. I do know in California it takes longer to evict someone than it should. Good luck.

@bagarad It's a long time when you need to get someone out. But it's the law.

I agree that you cannot be victim of this crazy guy. The landlord must take care of this matter.

That's exactly why we will call the police every time he goes wild. Although they told us earlier they were putting in an eviction notice. I know that takes awhile.

Actually it's our fault. We were sorry for the guy and wanted to give him every chance, but we've given up on that.

We don't own the apartment, it would have already been done if we owned the apartment.

You should act and talk to him, if he is approachable. If not tell the house owner to evict him.

I did approach him twice, but we believe he's too dangerous now. He throws mirrors, ladders and other things from his deck.
