Is marijuana legal in other countries? I know amsterdam has legalized it, I am currently unaware of other countries. Let me just tell you a little something about it that you may not know. As children americans were taught in school that marijuana is a gateway drug to more potent ones such as prescription medication, meth, heroine, etc. We were taught to stay away. Now scientist are actually acknowledging the potentials of marijuana. Not in a bad way, but in a way that it can stop the growth of cancer cells or slow them sometimes. It does not lead to further drug use. The fact that some people start at marijuana and continue on a search for their next high is irrelevant. Considering there are different types of personalities and those looking for the next high are usually in the category of an addictive personality. These people can get addicted to anything and everything, from alcohol to pills and meth etc. It is not a gateway drug, it is a medication. God put everything on this Earth to be used by humans and animals alike to help them along the way, whether it is spices to cook with or marijuana to heal with, it needs to be legalized fully in the U.S.A. Not just legalized by a single state or two separately because technically anyone using or selling marijuana can still be prosecuted under federal guidelines. Also, the growth of the industry could and will eventually replace the need to cut down precious trees for paper products, that was the ENTIRE reason it became illegal to begin with. A greedy paper manufacturer saw the potential in this plant, the cannabis plant, and demanded with his strong connections and pay offs to politicians to shut it down before it overtook his company!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!

It is still against federal law here, but it's legal in some states now. Right now we are going to see kratom made illegal on the federal level, it will be banned. I use kratom for pain, but it will be illegal after the end of this month. I think it's ridiculous to make any plant illegal. I think it has more to do with the pharmaceutical industry whining about it than anything else.
