How many hours should kids be allowed to play video games? / myLot

Forbidding kids to play video games seems like a harsh measure. However, what would be a healthy amount of hours that a teenagers should be allowed to play them?

1 hour per day @ourlot and that would be 'after' any chores that they need to get done. Cleaning their room, picking up their toys, doing homework, etc.

in my teenage years my mom permitted an hour of video games to my brother and myself...AFTER school work was over... after that we had to find other ways to keep ourselfs occupied.

I think it depends on their age and other daily activities. I think kids need plenty of outside time and active play time!
