Anyone knows of poetry site that pays for submitted poetry works?

I have never found one so I published several books of my own. I do not trust some poetry competitions. As
I sm a Christian, I did get to be the first featured poet for Faithwriters magazine witha poem called
"Dancing," but that is not a paying site slthough you can offer your work for sale.

individual publishers will accept verse on line but they will check it for quality and reject more than they accept and they can take months to get round to paying - keep trying though and good luck

I don't know of any, I'm afraid. I remember years ago briefly joining an online poetry forum which was run by totally pretentious people who thought their own poetry was great (a lot of it wasn't) but would criticise anything submitted by the newer members. It was a very unpleasant place and I doubt it's still going now.

@Jackalyn It seems to be one of the downsides of writing groups, alas. On some of the sites I've been on over the years there's often been someone who thinks they are the site's Resident Expert Writer. (This person sometimes has an army of loyal followers!)
