The split is inevitable now. I have joined in a Laughing Club. I have bee attending for the last 2 years. But, due to other activities, I could not attend regularly. Still , I am paying the amount or fee whatever you call it as per the convention. A Few days back when I visited the Club there was some silence. The members were going away from me. Their movements are not good and friendly with me. They were looking at me as if I am not a member of the Club. I could not understand the reason. While coming back from the Club one of my colleagues said 'Are you new? When did you join? I am not seeing you at all ". I just got angry and told him that he was new to the Club and not I. Was my absence make any difference for him. He said No..The next day he gathered some of his colleagues and demanded the President that they would leave the Club if I do not attend regularly and that they need punctuality. The president a dumb fellow apologized him and his friends and asked me to be punctual and regular. My friends and I felt sad about it. Today we decided to have a separate club in the same premises even for less fee . We also want to contribute something for the snacks and coffee. We also decided to run a small Tiffin Center during the time of Club hours and distribute the profits among ourselves.

So that laughing club did not live up to its very essence. It's good you separate and hope you make your club the best laughing club ever.

What is a Laughing club? How does it work? What is a tiffin center? Thank you for educating a very stupid American.

What a shame that club brought sadness instead of the laughter it was intended for
