As much as many would like it to be otherwise ,the sad truth of the matter is that at present time ,there are no black roses.This could possiblychange in the future with gene splicing.So...the blakc roses do not exist in nature,but neverthelles they are often feautured in fiction with many different meanings! ;)

I was thinking and still I think that the black rose is a MITO and it doesn't exist. As another friend wrote in this discussion I know that there is a very dark blue rose that can seems black but I think it is note really black.

yes ive heard of the tuscany. I think the black rose is a metaphore for the Irish resistance to English domination

I really dont think there is such a thing as a black rose, I know it is possible to get black tulips but they are not truely black very very dark purple but they are named black tulips, however i've been doing some research and i've heard there is a species of black rose that grows in the yorkshire area of the uk very rare and blooms at night time the scent from it is something that no words could describe tc babe blessed be xx

sorry friend i donot know about this i nver be hear about th black rose that were they are found,so that i hav no idea about this but i like a love sign that is red rose.
