I work as a sales assistant in a retail store and pretty much every day I get asked "do you work here?"
Nope I'm just putting stock out and tidying the store because I had nothing better to do today -_- seriously though c'mon... I'm even wearing a uniform with the store name on!
Has this happened to anyone else or is it just me?!

I was once browsing in a bookshop in London and a man asked me where to find a particular book. I replied that I didn't work there and he said he"d thought I did because I looked 'very purposeful'. It's 23 years later and I sill haven't figured that one out.

Lol, that's weird. I'd understand if you weren't wearing a uniform.
I'm sure I've been mistaken sometime for being someone who works in some store because I sometimes have this habit of returning things I find out of place to where they should be. So if someone asked me if I worked there, that'll be fine. But in your case...

hahah yeah its an easy mistake to make if you're just putting things back where they go... but yeah I actually have the uniform on -_-
