This is my little cat, Charlie, sleeping soundly on my daughter's space-themed duvet. He looks the picture of contentment, as if he really is up there among the stars. I wonder what he's dreaming about.
I hope everyone is having an enjoyable Sunday. I've been out for a run this morning. It's week 4 of the 'Couch to 5K' program and I'm starting to enjoy it more. My app told me I had done 4.4km today and burnt off 266 calories, so that's more than a chocolate bar, I reckon. I'm determined to keep this up. I even entered us all for a 5K charity run in the spring, so that's something to aim to.
I'm now going to settle down and watch some 'Orange is the new Black' and then make pasta for tea.

@5thHouse what amazes me about cats is that when they fall from a few feet up, they always land on their paws ..

@epiffanie I saw a TV show about cats and there was a story about a cat that fell from a balcony of a three storey building and survived. They explained how the cat manages to twist in mid-air and adjust it's body weight so that it lands safely. Quite astonishing really. Though they are not always so lucky. Some have sustained injuries from falls.

He does look very content and happy among those stars. He is beautiful. You are doing great running. WTG! I need to catch up on Orange is the new black I haven't watched it is quite some time but I do enjoy it.

My female, Lilo, always comes to find me in the night and sits right on top of me so that her whiskers tickle my face. It's extremely difficult to sleep but I never have the heart to send her away. She's an old lady now and I treasure the time I have left with her.

I don't think anything quite beats Breaking Bad, which was probably my favourite show ever (I really did feel lost when it was over) but Orange is certainly gripping. I'm not a TV person really and I can always think of loads of things I would rather do with my time than watch TV or DVDs, so it has to be something really good to keep me interested.

Today we did 4.09 km. Each session is still a combination of running and walking, but we are gradually increasing the amount of time we spent running. Today we did a total of 15 minutes running and 16 minutes of walking. The good thing about this morning's run was I felt I could've carried on for longer, so I'm not longer feeling like collapsing when I finish.
