Controversy, and arguments make money

On this site, the more responses you get the more income you earn. SOOOOOOOO the best way that I have saw to do it, is to discuss stuff that is either taboo or controversial. Correct?? So how do you get more responses? FYI just because I put it in a discussion does not necessarily mean that is my belief!

Then there are people like me, who almost always totally skip those types of discussions, lol. I don't enjoy arguing, and those things always invite arguments.

Very true! Those posts are generally aimed at more close minded people who have very deep opinions and rarely stray from them, for example if I were to post about abortion, Pro-choice and Pro-life people would generally both jump in on it, just for the sake of hoping to persuade others to join their side of the argument! I did one post about trump and hillary, I got a few responses, I however do not really care who gets the presidency. As our votes really don't count only electoral ones. Sorry I just thought I would share some examples. Guess I got to rambling.

@CinnamonGrl I agree with you Sue - I'm here to gave fun, not arguments. So you see @klr1993 that I'm not the only one to think like this. I never, ever read political or religious posts etc.

@jaboUK I do see. yup yup! BUT look at this discussion, it was merely a question about controversy and the links to the potential in making money on this site using it, and the response has be exponential!

That is absolutely incorrect. I myself avoid either reading or writing controversial stuff. To get more responses you have to give more responses, and build up friendships on the site.

@klr1993 You have the right attitude in trying to help others, well done. Hopefully some of those people with no comments will come back to you to see what you have written, and that's the way it goes. Good luck.

@jaboUK Yes I certainly hope they return the favor! But if not that is fine I will just keep doing what I am doing because it works pretty well :) I love this site, and the fact that we all make a little bit just for socializing, whoever came up with this is a genius. I wonder why though. Why pay people to begin discussions and partake in random topics? What does the inventor gain from this? who pays them? Are you not curious about this as well?

that is certainly another way of doing it! Thank you for that input! I really am relatively new to the site! I always go to explore and look for discussions with no comments and I usually comment on them just to try to help the author out! Thank you again! I will try to do better:)

OMG! I could talk about food ALL DAY LONG! But, I don't on here for some reason. Ever since I started being a stay at home mom, I cook so frequently now that not only has our powerbill raised quite a bit haha but I have also gained a whopping 9 pounds in like three months! UGHHHHH

I avoid responding to topics like politics on here but it seems a good way to get responses - as long as the topic isn't controversial enough to get banned.

Actually by my observation, people here don't like to talk about controversial things....it is usually avoided...i mean sure it depends on WHO writes it and how...if the person knows how to communicate productively only then the discussion is a popular one. However there are people who post things but are unwilling to listen to another persons opinion...such peoples discussion gets avoided...no matter how good the topic.
