Do you have any good advice for publishing an ebook or KDP in Amazon ?

I have never publish anything in Amazon yet but I would like to do so . If you have any good suggestion or good experience that you can share in here. I think many people would love to know that as well. Share with us ?

I have tried to sit down and write the wonderful novel that I can picture in my head A THOUSAND TIMES, I get to about the second chapter and something happens. I walk away thinking I will remember what I was about to write and come back to writers block. This is as far as I have gotten, but I do wish you luck in your endeavors
