Please don't. Not all of us have enough time to devote in responding to all comments.
I don't think we still have members who are only posting different topics, but not interacting at all. I think it's just in the past. Correct me if I'm wrong for I'm not active here.
I can't think of any tags for this post.

I don't think it's worth getting annoyed with people who don't respond to comments. Some people are just able to devote more time to the site than others. If someone was following me and never interacting with anything I posted, I would certainly wonder what was the point of following me, but I don't think you can expect people to always be able to be as active as you would like. I think there seems to be a good amount of give and take here. Compared to other sites I've been on there seems to be less of the 'post and run' attitude because people quickly realise that they won't make money if they don't interact.

I agree, @5thHouse regarding the amount of give and take. I think it's also because myLot does not restrict us from commenting with few words only so we can always go back and comment. I left one site because of this reason. I always need to count the number of words I'm typing and see to it that I meet the required number of words. If not, they will alarm you and tell you that your account will be disabled if you'll continue with it. The problem is sometimes I can no longer think of other words to say and another problem is they don't install word counter. It's crazy!

@wittynet Yes, I hate these minimum number of words requirements. Forcing people to waffle on in more words than they need is just silly. After being on sites where people would often post up to 10 times a day but never read anybody else's work, I'm glad MyLot has come up with a system which doesn't reward that kind of behaviour.

Thank you because you like my post, @silvermist! Few years ago, though I didn't like some posts, I was forcing myself to comment. I have 2 reasons: for additional earnings and for the member to feel they are not ignored here.

I agree, @akalinus. That's what I also noticed since my first day here way back 2011 or 2013. Forgive me for I'm sometimes so forgetful.
I also noticed that if you comment right away, they will interact with you, but if you comment after a week or weeks or months, most of them can no longer get back to you.

I comment and respond to discussions that interest me and I try to keep up with all the people I follow. It doesn't bother me if people respond or not. I do appreciate all the people who take the time to though. It means a lot.

It does mean a lot, @Happy2BeMe. I feel proud if they devote their precious time to comment. There are so many discussions here and if one of yours is chosen, it does mean a lot.

Well, you surely know that we earn "ONLY" if our comments are judged interesting. To be judged interesting we need that people reply to our comments. I understand that it can happen that someone does not reply. If this happens all the time I stop leaving comments to those users.

The majority seem to respond and that's enough. I don't think you can expect a 100% response. Maybe some people don't want to just leave a like without adding something more (which isn't always easy) so they don't reply at all. And perhaps some want to give a reply some more thought and come back to it later but don't get around to it.

Yes, I agree, @asfarasiknow. I'm not also expecting a response whenever I comment, so I feel special whenever they get back to me just to add more comments.,

No. I don't post discussions at all. I'm not bothered if people don't comment back to the responses I left.
