Hi Bella.
When I was growing up Halloween was not really a big deal in Scotland.
We made a lantern from a Turnip and my mum would use what we scooped out of the turnip for soup.
These days the stores are full of Halloween costumes and I think it's great I really do.
Your little Indian girl costume is pretty.
I think I would dress up as Darth Vader as he is quite cool but my wife said I would look better as a wookie.
I wish Halloween had been like it is today 50 years ago.
I think I would have dressed up like the wee boy in thecAdams family.
I think that was on the go then

I used to love Adams family. And we was poor so we had to make our own costumes weeks ahead of time! So It was a learning experience for me and my siblings as well. My mom couldn't afford costumes for six children so we made each other's mostly! Them was the good ole days.

@Bella27
I know where you are coming from.
We were poor as well.
I think that being poor taught us the value of things and not value things by what they cost

When I went out I normally went as a vampire or as a witch.
