My great friend was dating a guy (my bfs brother) for over 3 years, she left this afternoon with her daugther (who is not his child) to attend a wedding. She arrived only to receive a text message saying that he did not wish to be with her anymore :( This is horrible, it is like a split of family guys. My bf and I have been together for 2 years and we have a 9 month old child, This chick has been in my life the whole time, she has helped me through so much, and now his family wants me to turn my back on him. If I do not, I fear they will turn theirs on me. Not a good situation to be in. I know some of you out there may not believe in God, but Prayers and/or good vibes if you please!!! Thank you Advice is also welcomed.

First of all, what a cowardly way to let her know. He hadn't even the guts to tell her face-to-face.
I presume you mean that his family wants you to turn your back on her, not 'him' as you've written?
In which case I would tell them that they can't choose your friends, even though I realise it's awkward for you.
