Does the ghost really existed in the world?

Hello,everyone! I am new here.
I'd like to start a discussion as the ghost really existed?
When I was child, I rememebered a old woman called "shen pou" can cure child in heavy sick. But , she is not a doctor.The way she cured people looks like religious rites. That is awesome!!!
She said:the spiritual entity can also make people 'sick'.
Do you believe it?

Ghosts are not real, in fact i am curious that millions of chickens, cows, fishes and other animals are killed daily for food why none of them return as ghosts to take revenge. I have not heard a single story that a roasted chicken comes back as a ghost to haunt the person who ate it.

In my opinion,Man have a special soul which is different with animals.
This is the reason why we can make tools to hunt other animals.
But,animals just instinctively fight back.
