dressing up

Just wonder what kind of occasions do you guys dress up for? is it during a date? or whenever you are in a good mood? I feel more motivated to dress up when other people around me are dressing up. If not, most of the time I would just dress simply...no make up even...

I dress up for school, yet simply, with high heels and simple make up. I need to look professional in front of my students. But at home, i prefer to look casual and natural.

@Ayurini A teacher is a role model and I don't want to give my students a lesson of discrimination. Everyone should be equal and have the purchasing power..that be said....thats why I always wear same jeans for a week

I always dress up for the office . We are required to be of corporate attire , but then as long as your look is an office look , it is okay already . So that's why i am always in my heels , so even if i am wearing a shirt , i will look professional enough for the office .

@XinfulThotz No. I feel so good when i am in heels - stilleto. I don't wear those doll shoes which are so flat . I feel like walking like a duck wearing that .

@SIMPLYD stilleto makes one look more elegant. but too bad either my feet hurt or my back will hurt after long hours in them.

I dress up when I have client & board meetings, hearings/appearances before courts & quasi-judicial bodies, and job interviews.

Sunday service and when my kids have a school affair. I am more comfortable with blue jeans and t-shirt for everyday wear

I think dressing up is necessary whenever you need to make a good impression on someone regardless of the type of event. You may be dressed up not only in a business suit, but also in a casual attire, as long as you use elements that put your body and general appearance in a positive value.
