In a marriage why does the girl always have to leave her parents, accept and address the boy's parents as her own family where as the girl's parents always remains in-laws for the boy....

It depends on what part of the world you are referring to...there are matriarchal societies...the other way around.

Child marriage was in practice those days. And mostly marriages happen within relatives which makes it easy for the girl to get accustomed, but due to medical reasons marriage within relatives have stopped.male where given privilege to learn and women to be taken care of home. Due to women's supportive nature these kind of practices evolved. Today we have destroyed the root and just following the here and there's. I got married at age of 27, and I found it really difficult to get accustomed. That's when I understood it would be easy to be mounded at young age.

It's not that way here. Normally when a girl marries, both her and her husband are accepted as family by their inlaws.

In a male dominated society you wish to change any thing then first thing is to challenge the male dominance in the affairs of the cultures and traditions. Now we can see the some isolated signs of women empowerment so things might change for good in the near future.

It happens.... and i too think about it at times. And the irony is, how much you do for the in laws and accept them , you will always be treated as an outsider !
