How to earn more from Youtube / myLot

Recently I started a Youtube channel. And I getting 1000 views daily. but my earnings are very less. I making just approximately $0.50 per day. Is there any way to increase my earnings . What about CPM, RPM, CPC . Anybody knows about these terms?

I am trying to start youtube channel but I haven't adequate knowledge about this like what type of channels would be beneficial for me and how to monetize my channels etc. and also want to know about its various terms
