I like to watching movies alot. Since I became a mom I seldom go to the movie house because I have no one to leave my baby with.. but a friend of mine told me that I can bring my baby!! I was so happy!! I get to go out and watch a movie in an actual cinema AND spend more quality time with my baby.. (she is 9 months old) .. anyway when I got there and paid for tickets I was shocked that I have to pay for another ticket for her but then I thought that it's a small price to pay.. so on we go... when I got in.. i took 2 seats 1 for me and 1 for my baby bag (it's a very big bag) . A couple behind me started talking loudly saying how inconciderate some people are bringing babies that will cry during the movie and would need to occupy 2 seats because of it. I was so upset.. but ignored them anyway.. they can talk all they want... So guys are one of them?

I don't have children, but if the child is quiet I would not really care. However, I have to admit... That if the parent is unable to keep a crying baby quiet, it kind of does ruin the movie. I say use discretion. You know your baby, and what kind of mood she is in that day, and just enjoy the fun. There will always be critics, no matter where you go.

Not sure why you had to pay for two tickets, I think it should be okay to bring babies or toddlers just as long as they were quiet.

I have taken all of my little ones to the theater. If they cried I would take them out of the movie so they don't disturb anyone else. That couple was being rude, I'm sorry.

Why didn't you tell the couple that you had bought a ticket for the baby, too?

I didn't want to make a scene... I have this tendency to cry when I'm get really angry or upset.. and I was getting really upset then..

It's the one thing I don't like about people (the kind that get upset because you bring a baby to the theater). It's usually the one's that don't have kids that like ti make a fuss about other people's children.

I don't have a baby yet.But if I can bring my baby to a cinema well then it's a very good idea as well .I get to enjoy the movie and have some bonding time outside the house with my baby. ;)

My baby would make lots of noise if I took him to the movies. He cries when he wants to sleep and eat. I just watch movies at home lol

I even forgot when was the last time we watch movie. Anyway, it's okay with me as long as the baby is not crying.
