If it's not working how is it there? My numbers don't work but I can use the number keypad, although it's a pain.

Clean your keyboard. They make brushes specifically for the keyboard. If you are careful you can get under the key and clean out anything that has gotten under it. Becareful not to pull it up too much or it will pop off. Or, if you have a air blower you could use that.

Sometimes you can take the letter off and put them back on I've done that a few times always seem to work.

@miniam nope you have to be very careful when doing it. I stumbled upon that trick a long time ago. One of children when they we're younger how somehow did and I thought it was ruined. But I found the key and put it back on and it worked. If something like compressed air or cleaning wipes for electronics don't work first.

Turn the keyboard over and shake whatever is inside that key. You can also whipe the keyboard with a clean rag

MMost keys snap off, you need to remove it and see what is happening underneath. 4 years is not too old.
