Things haven't exactly been wonderful lately BUT I am working on being content in the current situation I am in. I am trying to always remember how Blessed I truly am. I have 4 beautiful children, another one on the way, an amazing Godly man by my side, the ability to Home School My children, a roof over our heads, food to eat and faith to keep going when things get tough. =)
Everything in life is temporary, things will improve with time but for now I will be content in my current situation.
Are you content in your life?

I am content with everything that I have. I worked full time for over forty years and my husband worked full time for forty years. So we both worked hard for what we have. I am happy with the simple things in live. I am not interested in expensive things.

I'm having a hard time with having no working vehicle but I do have plenty to be grateful for so I'm trying to focus on the good.

You and your hubby sound just like my wife and I.
When we work hard we appreciate things we have more.
We have worked hard on our relationship and it is that which I appreciate most of all.

Good..sometimes trying to be content is all you can do..No, I am not content in my current situation at all, but I think it is in my power to change it. That reminds me...I have a phone call to make. What happened with your husband Jennifer? What did the doctor's say?

@LovingMyBabies huh? I think I would try another doctor. However, by the fact you have to wait so long, I don't think they are considering it an emergency.

@snowy22315 It is hard to do in certain situations but I'm trying my best.
He won't be seen until November 28th! I hate that he has to wait so long but they said that's the soonest available. =(

The Apostle Paul said that we're to be content in whatever we find ourselves. I know things could be better in some ways for your family, but you have learned the secret to true contentment...faith and trust in God's wonderful care.

@AmbiePam Yup, Julian is 7 months old. I definitely didn't expect to have another one-especially so soon but God has a reason for everything. =) I am just trusting Him. And my husband is getting a vasectomy done once we have the money saved.

Yes, I am content with the commitment I have made. Has your husband heard back from those tests? I may have missed a discussion. You sure do have a lot to be thankful for. And another little one on the way? How nice!

@celticeagle No, he can't go to get the colonoscopy done until the 28th so the doctor will tell us everything at one time. The whole thing is a hot mess.
Yes our last little one is on the way and we are done after this one...Lol. Thank you!

I am content with what I have and I have to remind myself that I am blessed with what I have (even though there is a problem with one of my family members that makes me ask God "why", but I know God is in control).

@Leapea2417 Yeah sometimes it is hard to remember that God is in control. I know, I have days that it's hard to remember that as well.

I have been content in my life since we stopped working, left NJ and moved south. We have all we need and all we want. How is your husband doing?

@andriaperry I hate that feeling and I understand it very well. I hope you can fulfill what is missing in your life. =) For me, I feel that way when I miss days of church.

First of all, beautiful post. Sounds like you have a lovely family and life. You're right, things are definitely never perfect but it's not too hard to try to be content with life. I'd say for the most part, I'm very content with mine, of course I'd love it if a few things were different, but I think we can all say that on some level.
