Hi Mylot friends, I want to share something. I haven't been active for a couple of weeks. Been busy on some things but I can't help this agony of mine as of now. I'm not sharing this with you for you to agonize or be burdened also. I just want somehow to see how people would react in such situations like this. Here it goes, I have been with my partner for almost 9 years. We are not yet married and has 1 kid. We have been through rough times not once, not twice but many times but it just keeps happening. I have been receiving so many issues about him during and after his academy training. And my trust is very low up to this point. We are currently in the midst of our planning for our wedding next year. And I am very confused. I don't want a broken family but who want's a relationship full of issues that haunts you everyday. Please give me some advice. I made this public because I trust that this is not like facebook that will kill your image once you posted such problem. I know people here are very deep in thinking and in answering in discussions like this. Thank you Mylot friends! Have a nice day!

i think some people stay in relationships because they can still trust and respect the other. i guess there's the expectation that since you've lasted 9 years and have a kid already, marriage is the next logical step. when you say hearsays from people you barely know, do they tell you face-to-face? how do they know/are related to your partner?

To answer the question @hereandthere, they told me thru messages in Facebook. They are somewhat friend of my partner but a stranger to me. Childhood friend of my partner. Their family is very known for trouble makers. We are in the same area of our house. Now this family of trouble makers told me not to trust this woman because she has been screwing with my husband. I know the woman. I trusted her to take care of my child for 15 days because we are both working. But after a few months, when this woman got trouble with one of the members of the trouble maker family this was the issue. And I have had a friend that told me that it was true and that she did not tolerated my partner and this woman because I am her friend. But this friend is related with the trouble maker family. It's just confusing and I hate it. :(

If you are seeing red flags then I would not be getting married. Not sure what has caused all the problems in your relationship but if you don't trust him then it is hard to move forward in a relationship. There needs to be trust and communication. You deserve to be happy. If you are having doubts then maybe you should really consider if you want to get married.

Thank you @Happy2BeMe. Yes I am seeing red flags now with no proof or evidence on my face. I did not fight with him nor sneak out of his cellphone to find out what's true. I just kept shut but this silence makes me kill myself inside.

Well this gets complicated because of the kid involved...but it is best to clarify your doubts before you plan to spend the rest of your life with him. Have you spoken to him about this? Because if you plan to get married, you should be able to talk to him about how you feel and what causes you discomfort.

Yes I did. He denied it and said it was not true. And said that I should not believe it.

Don't get it twisted, the one who gave us love, gave us beautiful thing. Look for ways of bettering your relationship. Be sure you did not contribute to its failure ... clean conscience is the best pillow... if you are innocent, have open and workable communication, some pressures can move man to act funny and to say am sorry later, if he refuses to repent, make moves. Twaleyyy!!
