Good Morning - a hump day ahead and because this great card came in the post yesterday, I thought we could all do with a laugh, so i am sharing! Its been many a YEAR that I have received one of these and this will be the first in my current collection. Imagine the faces when they read it!! ha ha ha cannot wait to have some visitors ! Thanks Barry - nothing like a fabulous postcard, great stamp and a good old laugh to start the day! @Asylum - Love the Lighthouse in the distance as well! I've got a book with pictures of all of those old-fashioned cartoon postcards. Some of them are absolutely hilarious but probably wouldn't be allowed these days!

@WorDazza Everyone used to spend ages looking at all the postcards on those revolving racks. They were a part of the British seaside.

Purchasing postcards while on vacation was a family tradition...my daughter still sends me a postcard every time she travels. Generally she is home long before the postcard arrives.
