Favorite Protest Songs #2 - "Murder in the Skies"

Not every protest song has to be about war, you know. Take #2 in my Favorite Protest Songs series, "Murder in the Skies" by Gary Moore. It definitely ain't protesting war, yet it's one boffo protest song.
Irishman Gary Moore was a guitar hero, whose career included stints in Thin Lizzy, and a solo career that was part hard rock, part heavy metal, and part blues. He had a penchant for writing protest songs (growing up in war torn Belfast might make one a bit angry, you think?) "Murder in the Skies" was just one of many protest tunes penned by the late guitarist.
Remember when, in 1983, the Soviet Union shot down a Korean airliner, killing all on board? "Murder in the Skies" is Moore's protest of that event. It was not a hit; it wasn't even released as a single (shooting a jetliner out of the sky isn't exactly hit material,) but it is one of the best songs Moore ever recorded.
You'll want to listen to the lyrics, of course, but make sure to enjoy Moore's white hot guitar solo at the beginning of the song:
